“When you go wolf-spotting … you likely won’t get close enough to behold their beauty with the naked eye, as you might the animals on an African game drive, or even the bison and moose right here in Yellowstone. But that’s part of the magic of watching them; it’s peering through a keyhole into their private world.“
This past fall we were happy to host Jesse Ashlock, editor of Condé Nast Traveler, on our Yellowstone Wolf Vacation, along with a small group of fellow travelers. Jesse and our group learned all about Yellowstone’s legendary wolves from our resident wolf biologist, Jon Trapp, and one of the world’s foremost experts on wolves, Rick McIntyre. They caught glimpses of playful wolf pups bounding in the snow and were lucky enough to be able to witness a wolf pack kill.
You can find Jesse’s full article in the March 2022 print edition of Condé Nast Traveler. We have also scanned and uploaded it here for your convenience.
Our winter Yellowstone Wolf Vacation is currently sold out but we have spots available on our Spring and Fall Wolf Vacations – spaces are limited though!
